4th Edition of Where you'd rather Be is Now Available

Welcome to the FOURTH EDITION of “Where You’d Rather Be” magazine. We are passionate about the Destin and South Walton community as well as the people who live within and visit our beautiful beaches and the coastal towns of Northwest Florida.

This year, our theme is “disconnect to reconnect.” We’ve been to countless presentations this year that showcase how quickly our world is changing thanks to technology. However, in the midst of all the innovations, we believe what families really want (need) is time together.
Do you remember the last time you joined your parents, grandparents, sisters or brothers on the beach to watch the sunset and toast that magical moment when the sun dips below the horizon and the sky is ablaze with vibrant colors? This moment is such a great reminder to put down your electronic devices and reconnect with what is most important—friends and loved ones.

At Newman-Dailey, we want families to have those special moments and bring back the traditional family vacation. A vacation where you disconnect from work, the demands of life and electronics, and reconnect with family and friends. A vacation where you play board games and stay up late laughing and telling stories. It is in these moments that traditions are created and memories are made that last a lifetime.
In this issue of Be Magazine, we want to help you reminisce about vacations past and help plan for your beach vacations ahead. We’ve compiled a selection of our new and upgraded vacation rentals to help you begin your search for your next vacation rental to disconnect and reconnect. In addition, by sharing new activities and restaurants we hope to inspire a new list of things to do in South Walton and Destin.

Finally, we’ve showcased some of the people, places and organizations that are reconnecting us with our beautiful stretch of the coast.
We hope you enjoy this edition of Be Magazine and invite you to provide us feedback as well as share your stories and hidden treasures. Connect with us on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages or tag us in your posts #newmandailey.
