Newman-Dailey Donates $1,000 to Food For Thought from Valentine’s Day Promotion
DESTIN, Fla.—Newman-Dailey is passionate about giving back to the local community. For Valentine’s Day instead of showering guests with chocolates or champagne, Newman-Dailey is donating $14 per stay on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2021 to Food for Thought to help fight food insecurity among area students. The donation of $1,000 will support services to more than 3,300 students signed up for the 2020-2021 school year.
“We are a philanthropic company that likes to have fun, accomplish goals and achieve our personal best. We’re always seeking ways to support each other and the community. Due to COVID-19, the needs are even greater this year,” said CEO/Founder Jeanne Dailey. “We’re pleased to be able to spread the love and support area students.”
The Newman-Dailey Team also earned the top spot as “#1 fundraising team” in 2019 and 2020 Food for Thought’s Stock the Pantry competition. In fact, the team exceeded their goals, and in 2020 raised more than $49,000 for Food For Thought to support services to 32 schools in Walton and Okaloosa Counties.

Food For Thought provides backpacks filled with healthy, easy to prepare food for students who are dependent on free or reduced school meals. Their goal is to support a child’s development and educational experience by bridging the gap between school meals during weekends and holiday breaks. Food For Thought has been working to fight child hunger since 2010.
